Staff are great people. For residents it's $15.00 non resident $25.00 bon fire's great place for family and friends. You can put tents up as well.

Probably the best trails in the area. Some small hills, which is really rare for this area. Plenty of ponds. I'd have mosquito repellent on hand though, I haven't needed it this year yet, but the bugs are already getting worse.

Short of driving to starved rock or the dells they're the best trails I've found in chicagoland.

It could be larger and the paths could be more organized. Other that that, it is okay. They have pavilions set up, the fishing is good, and it is very scenic during the fall.

My go to place to camp. Nearby, clean, ample things to do and quiet at night.

One of the best campgrounds around. We stay here every time we come into town to visit family.
