Hospital has gotten so cheap. You have to ASK for towels and toothbrush. Would not go there again.
Horrible hospital. They were taking forever in the ER to take my dad to ICU. My dad passed away a day later. Wondered if the dr's and nurses really did everything they could. Sherman, Loyola and St Joseph are responsible for my dad's passing. I will not rest until an investigation is thoroughly looked at. Dr's and nurses should feel ashamed of themselves for not caring or having compassionate. Not even the nurse that informed us my dad's heart had stopped said I'm sorry. I'm FURIOUS!
I was in the E.R. today and received very good care. Pleasant intake and the student nurses from EC.C. were awesome. Thank You
I remember waiting for a family member that was having surgery. Nurse said we will let you see your relative as soon as the surgery is over. The attendant was gone for the day so we waited and waited. We called and a nurse came and told the daughter I cannot tell you any thing because of HIPAA. "Remember this is the daughter that was taking care of her mom and signed all the documents ". Another nurse finally told us how our relative was doing and said that she will come back in 15 minutes and let us see the patient. We waited for 40 minutes and called again. The same nurse showed up and told us the the patient has been transferred to ICU about 30 minutes prior. It was really bad! While there were some good nurses, others were insensitive and poorly trained. Oh another thing. Relative lost her belongings! No one followed up although I went to the unit and they said they will call us!
Just came home from their ER my neck is in a ton of pain been going on too long also ribs and have been throwing up for a week I called my Dr and was told go to ER. No blood test or urine tests was told they were going to try codine then said I’m allergic which I’m not they asked what I was allergic to when i came in I told them my medication list which they were wrong. Very lazy hospital never will go back better off going to Sherman even better st Alexus. I was there a whole 15 mins with a bogus diagnose.
Mostly poor nursing/cna service. Very lazy people. Doing as little as they can to help patients. Hospitalists are a joke. They pop in for one minute or less.
