The splashing fountains are pretty neat and I'm sure great to cool off on a hot day.
Very nice area in what appears to be a revitalized area of downtown Elgin. River fishing, fountains where kids can play, walking and biking areas and a number of good local restaurants up and down the area.
Was clean and kept well though for what little they do have.

I truly wish that there was more things for the kids to play on / with & a swing set and / or a slide or two!!!
There's just so very little for the kids to play on :(
Nice venue...the only complaint would be the placement of the T-shirt tent. Instead of putting it with the other tents on the side they put it right in the middle which blocked the stage for the lawn seats.
